There are some problems with the new moves, like the dreadful kick meter lag as well as some fun additions. The side of hurl, dead legs and dead leg are all new moves that aid in battling defense. They increase the number of options to make defenses not miss. The new moves make the game somewhat less monotonous which is great for the game.

Franchise mode has been completely overlooked and it's identical to the previous year's Madden that was extremely similar to the previous year's. EA did not even try to alter the mode's layout. If this was a mode that caused Madden players fall in love with It's worth $60 to purchase the new version.

This section of the game has been almost unchanged for the past two years and it's a major slap on the face of people who bought the game. It's these kinds of tactic which make the majority of EA sports games so bad.

A lot of the issues in the series on the field are being addressed really well. Run defense was too difficult to tackle in last season's entry. However, it has improved tenfold since then. Additionally, the open field has better animation with less absurd tackles, which included opponents leaping across the air like super-heroes. It is easier to use basic moves using the correct stick. This makes it much easier to avoid obstacles and also allows for smoother and smoother running.

This is the one that is problematic in the Madden series. That's a big deal as the year featured players without heads and large glitches that caused large lines to swoop across the screen, as if players were watching on an old plasma TV. The most frustrating thing about this endless line of glitches is that it is the possibility of causing problems with the game's gameplay. If a framerate drop within a specified time frame players might be unable to catch a ball, or even a kick.

There's no doubt that there will to be the biggest improvement between NFL 22 and NFL 20 is the enhancement of the graphics. It's like players actually are watching the game as the zoomed out camera can be seen zooming in. While the characters on the side line appear like PS2 NPCs, and fans in the bleachers appear to be cardboard cutouts the models of the characters are so detailed and almost cutting edge.

It's an EA game. EA games are designed to function as intended. It's not shocking to find micro transactions being used in games however it's offensive when they're in players' faces and are a part of all the menus. If you don't pay a lot of money (after having already shelled out more than $70 for an experience that is full of bugs,) playing the game can be a tedious, slow or even irritating grind.
